Mommy!

Mom, I’m hungry.
Go to sleep, my child.

Mom, I’m hungry.
Pizza Hut, I’ve dialed.

Mom, I’m cold.
It’s all in your head, dear.

Mom, I’m cold.
I’ll switch on the heater.

Mom, I’m sick.
Close your eyes and pray.

Mom, I’m sick.
Drink this syrup right away.

A child’s needs,
Do not differ.

Be him rich,
Or be him poor.

So let’s join hands for,
a task extraordinary.

And hope we can help,
Make Poverty History.

[Note: Since this is an organization for a good cause, they're not going to sue me for using their name, right?]

Did you HAVE to beat me by putting two bands on your blog page?!!

I'm pretty sure they will not sue you for the usage but they just might sue for associating their name with your poem... jk

Well thought out poem actually.. :-).

Nirmal: Thanks, btw!

George: Well, I don't know if I could write a poem on it, but I'll definitely look into the website :)

Abhi: I'm calling you that from now on. Waise, there is NO connection between me liking Hashmi (He is so HOT yaar!) and me wanting to help rid poverty. Except probably that they both deal with nanga people! :p

RA: You and your metaphors of praise :) I want a softy NOW!!!

Make Trade Fair - I totally agree. Chris Martin has found a decent cause to be a part of. Did anyone see Chris Martin in Africa? It came before the Live8 concert started.

You have achieved Mortal status my dear Ms V.Nice Poem.Yeah but i think all the black ppl in the US should also think abt Africa and do something abt it...I have a feeling they dont give a shit...The Blacks in the US are like 20% of the ones that survived the Journey to the New World from Africa...That means they are the meanest surviving machines if they could survive those slave boats...Africa needs em and they were stolen from there...Their sweat built the most Powerful country in the world too...U have to give it to White ppl tho..The Bastards...But the Black ppl are fucked up too...Its like the Kohinoor saying I d rather the Queens head to some low down Museum in Delhi...
