Sirens everywhere
Attn: All guys who honk at, whistle at, “Hey baby” at females walking on the street while you’re driving past in your vehicle
What are you trying to tell us? Is it just something you do to anything-female-that-moves when you drive by? Or do you choose your ‘victims’ (and I’m using this word very lightly here)?
Before imaginations start running wild, let me clarify a few things.
1. My pants were on fine, so there wasn't any peek-a-boo action going on with my arse.
2. I did not have the words “Honk if you’re drunk\horny\lonely” written or printed on any part of me or my clothing.
3. I wasn’t walking ON the road.
It’s not so much the honking that bothers me but the characteristic creepy group laugh that accompanies it which can be heard invariably because the windows are rolled down. Has anyone noticed that it’s a group activity? I haven’t ever seen only one guy try to communicate with someone on the pavement, unless he knows that someone personally. I’m just curious as to how this phenomenon came about. And what does it truly accomplish? Is it sexually stimulating, an adrenaline rush or a moment of sheer pride over the fact that your car horn actually works? It seriously beats me.
In other news, you won’t believe what happened today. I got honked at.

aw! don't worry abt tht too much now. it's just tht some of us never grow beyond the age of 12. n i didn't know these things hpn in ur part of the world too. :)

Not just the "look how horny I am" people, also the "its hilarious that i can speak", the "so what if I am stupid? I hang out with equally stupid people", and the "so what if I am not stupid!? I hang out with stupid people!" types.
They deserve our support (tho a swift kick in the nuts comes to mind first)

A: I definitely think there's no place like Oman :) And yes, I in fact pride myself on knowing some of the best people you'll ever come across in this world. "Nice bunch" in my opinion is the height of understating the wonderfulness of my friends, Blogger and otherwise :) But mind you, because they are of the rarest kind, the scorpion in me is mighty possessive of them, and if I find that they are giving you more time than they are giving me, you are going to be in BIG trouble ;) But go ahead and enjoy them in limited quantities :D

iam the honest n straightfwd type. if i like a gal, i go straight up to her n i tell her. of course, the result is usually disastrous, but tht's a diff. matter. (ppl jst don't value honesty anymore). *shakin my head ruefully*

Too many scorpions crawling all over the place huh? Dont worry five mice, I being a typical saggi, have no ego to be scathed by any sting Ms.V can produce ;) Even though she has double the space, I will still go more to the site that interests me more! And now, both being poetesses, its a bit difficult to decide too..For now though, I will be honking a bit more than inviting ppl over for dinner!
