Funny? I think not.
You might probably find this on a joke site. But is it a joke?
Last month, the UN conducted a worldwide survey. The only question asked was:
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a HUGE failure.
In Africa, they didn't know what "food" meant.
In Eastern Europe, they didn't know what "honest" meant.
In Western Europe, they didn't know what "shortage" meant.
In China, they didn't know what "opinion" meant.
In the Middle East, they didn't know what "solution" meant.
In South America, they didn't know what "please" meant.
And in the USA, they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.
Interesting, eh?

There were chain mails in the recent past about a presentation at the UN on the issues affecting the World today. Though it is not really a UN presentation, the final output is really creative. The designers used the flags of some of the countries to showcase the issues related to those countries using real data from Amnesty Intl and the UN. Here is a link to it. Be sure to read the captions on each flag: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/showthread/t-266680.html
