What is this feeling I feel inside?

Update: I got so carried away with trying to understand what I couldn't understand, that I forgot to mention one very important thing that I did understand. Kay Kay Menon is hot! Not to mention, he's a great actor too, but this role suited him so well that he did cause a heart beat or two to skip. (Yeah, isn't that the easiest thing in the world to do!!!)

I just watched the movie "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi". I don't know what I'm feeling after watching it. I know the movie hit me. But in what way? I can't put a finger on it. Interesting movie, to say the least. It's about politics, corruption, and all the other things that's wrong with our country. However, what caught my attention the most is the love story. I know you're probably thinking "Gosh, these girls don't think of anything else." And you're probably right too. But there was something about this particular love story that pulled a heart-string. Again what exactly I'm feeling? I don't know. But it was beautiful. There was love, definitely, and there was passion. Something about their love story was just beautiful. Everything else portrayed in the movie was evil, dark and even scary. Maybe that's why the love story stood out. Or maybe because it's a story of first love. There's something haunting about it. Whatever it was that I cannot comprehend, I love it. I know that a lot of this post may not make sense, but that's because I can't make sense of what I'm feeling right now either. Weird. I usually have an opinion about everything!!!

Ashish: Awww. How sweet :) It's so good to see you back. When are you going to start blogging again? I totally miss it! If you've not watched the movie, you must. I think it's your kinda movie - politics, corruption, poverty. It's got all the Waghray components!!!

I thought the acting was good, the dialogues well written, but the story a bit too contrived. I hated the ending.

One small step for Indian Cinema I guess. No giant leap.

... but for now life's kinda bumpy ride nd can't hold the pen nd paper in place... once the road gets smoother, will touch base...

Krups: You should definitely watch it. It's a must-watch in my opinion.

Vishy: Whether it reflects my feelings or not, I'm not sure. Maybe it does in some weird way...

Yohan: You didn't like the ending???? Are you kidding me? I LOVED IT! I mean, here's this guy who's been at the mouth of death, and then it hits him that maybe what he's fighting for is not worth his life. After all, look at the background he comes from. And then the girl who goes back to the village maybe realizing that she can't always plan her life around her lover. And the third guy who gets caught in this web without even being involved in it. And he pays the biggest price. Because that's how life is.. fucking unfair. I loved the ending. It was perfect. I wouldn't change anything about it!

Jaguu: Aah. It's easy to get mellow when your a girl :) *Hugs back*

Ashish: :D Well I'll be waiting for you to get back to doing what you do so well.

Richard Marx: Indeed :P Go watch the movie. That's the least you can do.

RA: Thanks. Yes, I don't feel like it at all. But thanks for the wishes anyway. Wish you the same :)

Well, I didn't mean to get you down. I know its a real bad phase you're going through and you will have to deal with it...I know it sucks but thats how it is.

Anyway, I won't have a happy diwali either. I'm stuck in the insti because of some stupid projects!

Vikas: It's okay. It's not that your message particularly got me down. That's pretty much how I feel all the time now. Sorry that you're stuck with projects. Hopefully all your friends are stuck too and you guys can have a blast together :)

A very HAPPY DIWALI to you. But probably not a good movie to watch on such a lovely day.
The movie as you said really hits you and shows you the real India as we have or I have never ever seen it. Forget all that crap about India Shining, FII's investing, BSE crossing 8000 or whatever I guess this shows that we are still caught up in the Dark ages and except for a few pockets where the so called pseudo educated live and rant about the new, developed India, we are still a land of a 800 million snake charmers and 200 million techies.
